My father's been a police officer for 20 years and has seen 1, maybe 2 "raises."

There is NO money in law enforcement. They get paid about as much as teachers... and here in Texas... that's next to nothing.
provincial police here get around 100g a year and get full benifits and pension after 25yrs sooo how is that not a fuckin good job.

Talking

The Player's favorite pick up lines...

1. "Do you like to dance? Well then, could you go dance so I can talk to your friend?"

2. "Will you help me find my lost puppy? I think he went into that cheap motel room."

3. "How much does a polar bear weigh? Enough to break the ice- can I get your number?"

Then why did the dictionary people have to decide what the new words were? Why don't they just go ask the Queen for what new words to add?

Dictionaries are descriptive, not proscriptive. They dont just make shit up, they put words in because people are using them.

Edit. and the queens english is the pronunciation not the words. as in received pronunciation
