I guess I just don't get their show. It's not for me.

Speaking of Nick Starr and podcasts that aren't for me, The Dawn and Drew show episode 611 also discusses Nick Starr's fake suicide attempt. Dawn hoists herself up on her industrial strength soapbox and whines about how mean some unnamed podcasters are - I think it's the Nobody Likes Onions guys - and how these mean podcasters are obviously the ones that pushed Nick into the fake suicide attempt. Not once does she theorize that the reason he tried to commit fake suicide could have been that his fake friends allowed him to live in his car for the past 11 months without stepping in to even fake help. It's also worth noting that this fake heartfelt message from Dawn was brought to you by Podshow and GoDaddy.
Fuuuuuuuuuuck yoooooouuuuuuuuu! And welcome to the forums.

The username that Nick used on the NLO forums, "nokondi", has not been registered here...meh.

Talking

Nick Starr attempts to convince the world he was going to kill himself. WHO FUCKING cares, he is just some fourth rate podcast groupy. I saw NLO and was astounded at a fat cunt could poke fun at anyone, jesus fucking christ there is a video of some fat prick stuffing his head with a cream cake. I felt like puking and that sad fucker actually made someone feel bad about themselves. D&D also fuck she is a scary looking bitch , I could just imagine the pastey white skin with bed sores and creases with unwashed sweat deposits.
Nick starr you are a fucking retard and it is for these reasons that technology has gone too far. WE SHOULD NOT HAVE YOUR PEROXIDE FAT FUCKING IMAGE IMPOSED ON US or any of your fat fucking retarded friends. I agree with elton john for these reasons alone we should shut down the internet.
good evening

Bored of Nick Starr. All this talk about him only further floats his waaah-wahhh behavior.

Grow up Nick ( I know your reading this ), get an apartment, a job and touch a chic....does a body good.

Yea. Same.

And it ended with such a pffft.

Be nice if they had:
Seth Bullock: Deadwood and Beyond.

Nick Starr, as odd as he may be, is no one's pet. He's an adult, technically speaking, who made a CHOICE to live out of his car. No one 'allowed' it. Why do folks who hope a guy isn't dead get derided because they didn't offer him a couch a few thousand miles away from his chosen haunt? Or maybe they did, how would you know?

Personally, I hope he's getting help - he certainly needs it. If nothing else, he needs to go through Consumer's Anonymous.

I always like everything, everyone dislikes. I liked Carnivale, Lucky Louis, Deadwood... too many to count.

*Funny Story* - My brother met Nick Stahl (of Carnivale) in New York at some bar and went up to him.
My brother said... "My brother loved your show."
Nick said... "That's really nice, thanks, too bad nobody else did."

Lots of people liked Deadwood, they just hated the way Milch ended the show. It doesn't help that he abandoned Deadwood to make John in Cincinnati, which is a shitfest of a series. He'd wanted to do both series, HBO said they'd only pay for one, so he ditched Deadwood and did the surfer Jesus show instead.

He wasted half of season three on a boring subplot concerning a bunch of actors. The rest of the season seemed to promise this huge blowout of an ending, and the tension kept ramping up, but then the show ended with a little piffle, just like William said.

Historically, the town burned to the ground several times. The Jem Saloon had to be rebuilt at least twice. They could've built off those details for the finale and made it exciting. Intead, the big newspaper magnate just gets bored and leaves town, and then Seth Bullock walks into the sunset. Boo-ring!

Thanks for spoiling the ending...

JK, I was disappointed on the ending, but I think HBO pulled the plug. To expensive to produce. Not Milch...

JfC is Ok, but it should have stayed in it original location. NYC. not a beach in SoCal

I guess I don't care where it's located, since the whole premise seems to be Jesus gathering his disciples. It could be on the moon for all I care.

I just don't find the dialogue to be as sharp or as poetic as it was on Deadwood, and the characters are all boring to me except for Al Bundy and the drug dealer (who was on Deadwood). I've already stopped watching it.
