Its all a ploy to garner sympathy. I don't want him hurt himself, I'm not that evil after all. If someone really wants to kill themselves they use a bridge, a tall building or a gun and they do it after composing a letter. The Twitter posts are the same as someone eating too many sleeping pills and making a phone call. Suicide is weak and mean. Your pain ends while the pain you inflict on everyone around you may never truly end. If your life really feels that awful try going to a Veterans Hospital, where people are missing limbs and faces. Go to a hospital cancer unit. Look up Darfur on the internet if your lazy. It aint that bad, stop the pity-party and be responsible for yourself. Don't be a whinny baby Nick. Pick yourself up and change your life, don't look to others for comfort.

Interesting collection. I've had these thoughts from the list:

"The people on Flight 93 were not goddamn "heroes" or "warriors," they were passengers on the wrong plane. If I have to hear about Todd Beamer and "Let's roll" one more time I am going to puke." -- Houghton

"I was really annoyed with people saying, "I could have been there, blah blah." You weren't, so stop dwelling on it." -- Meredith, 25, public relations executive in Washington

And I agree with Keith that suicide is the ultimate in selfishness. You force your family and friends to pick up the pieces for years after you're gone. My friend's father blew his brains out with a shotgun. Her mother has been in nothing but fucked up relationships ever since, and she has her own issues she's still dealing with. Her brother seems to be doing okay now, but he did turn fundie Christian after it and works as some sort of youth pastor down South. So I guess he's also still dealing with shit in his own way.

"And I have to watch cops knock on my door... and that's how I find out"

My father's been in law enforcement for 20 years and says that's the worst part of his job.... being the messenger. He's seen everything from suicides and murders to innocent lives being taken... and can deal with all that.

It's being that guy that delivers the message that NO one ever wants to hear or thinks they will hear.

I personally think that all this suicide talk was just a metaphor for Nick throwing his unfordable iPHone into the river... without his phone Nick is Dead.

He loves the attention so much that he just may be the kind of guy that would tell everyone that he is going to do it and then just do it, or kill someone famous so that his name is forever immortalized, the truth is, Nick probably doesn't have anyone and it must be depressing living in a car and your best friend is your phone and voss water.

Personally, I hope that he didnt' do it, I hope that he has reached rock bottom and becomes stronger and grows up a bit. I don't wish ill will on him, or anyone for that matter... (well maybe my ex wife, but that's another story) but if he is alive, I hope someone kicks him in the ass... preferably ("we love you Nick") Dawn and Drew.

I only want him back for his flickr.com Photos.

I love his "I am first in line for a new ________" perspective shot.

Since he can not get on NLO, say he can fulfill is third part of the apology by killing himself on YOUR show.

Then you guys will be even.

I still don't understand how he can afford all this tech shit and not have an apartment. I remember having months where all I had after paying my bills was $25 for food that month, but I always had a roof over my head. Priorities, man!

he has the keith's dad thought process. I buy 2 of the newest shit from apple. Keep one sell the other one for more money.
Now if I do this 20 times a year and capture 2% of the 'I do not have an apple store near my house' market I can buy a house in 6 month
