Wow those FTL fuckers are nuts. Compulsory service is slavery and they want anarchy where everyone has a gun. Fantastic. Those jerkoffs would be the first ones to get shot. Seriously, Jenny McCarthy's kid is smarter than them. He may line up his toys and pretend he has wings, but these weirdos want to go back to the Stone Age, but with guns. That's way more retarded.

Also, thanks Gunner for doing what you do. Your service is truly appreciated.

This episode makes me glad that politics aren't a usual topic on KATG.

I guess it just depends on your perspective. I would agree that compulsory service is slavery. The government is forcing you to do something that you didn't choose. To me that is slavery. I don't have the freedom that America is about.
I can see Dueces point 100% that people serving would make them appreciate the freedoms they have...however you took away their freedoms to show them to them, that doesn't work with my idea of freedom.

Besides, Dueces point about president and politicians families serving is bullshit, if any politicians son had to serve, guess what, they won't be on the frontlines, just like now. Same with other races like his other point.

I like Duece, but in this case he got destoryed by the FTL guys, which is expected, this is what they talk about all day long, so they have the facts, and they have the knowledge about this type of argument. Dueces argument sounded weak, muttled, and just not as clear as the very direct FTL message of "America is about freedom. Forced service is not freedom." I can see his point, and I think it works for other countries, but America is based on more of a freedom concept than a lot of other countries.

Holy shit, that doesn't sound like Deuce.

Ian from FTL is a nutcase, mark is somewhat more on the ball though. Compulsory military service is a bad bad idea and would take a generation or two of conditioning the population before it could work
