I had a funny thought about "Hate Crime"

The fact that your protagonist called his victim a nigger is probably not the thing that ends up making him look bad. I was imagining the situation, I'm protecting my family from an invader. The invader is the most hated object I've ever conceived. And so I call him as vile and horrible names as I can come up with at the time. So nigger in that situation is probably forgivable.

But here's where your protagonist really steps in doodoo. When he has time to reflect on his killing and write a song about letting the long arm know what's happened, he refers to the dead guy as a "negro boy".

Yeah, I know the song is comedy. But I thought it was funny that I had a whole thought process putting myself in the situation and the moral dillema of it.

Ten thumbs up for the thought provoking "Hate Crime"
