Ænima was how I heard about Bill Hicks. There's a picture of him in the liner notes, and Arizona Bay was the name of one of his albums. Third Eye samples some of his standup routine. If for nothing else, I gotta thank Tool for that. And for all the ROCKING THE FUCK OUT! AWWWOOOO!!!

Nothing better than Tool back in 96 man, I have listened to that album so many times, have broken it, bought new copies - I LOVED the original (which broke, and I've never been able to find again) where it was that weird optical illusion - You could take the "contortionist" and basically move it back and forth to have him suck himself off. PRICELESS.

And isn't it just a testiment to how AWESOME it was, 12 years and holy fuck, still amazing music.

Did you ever pick up the wicked Special Edition DVD? Fuckin hell - all the crazy, fucked up vids. hot.

Some of the band have been heard saying "enema"; though I'm told it is pronounced "ON-ima", giving a nod to the two words which comprise this title. This despite the fact that most words beginning "Æn--" should be pronounced "Een--", but they made up the word, so they can have their cake and eat it too, I suppose.

Only tickets to small shows are hard to get. Saw them when they played at The City Center in NYC about a year and a half ago which was really hard to get tickets for. My then boyfriend magically pulled it off.
