Great episode.

That recording at the end was hilarious. So sad.

Awwww, Chemda is upset that we aren't tracking her super-periods close enough.

CAMPAIGN 2008
Factcheck.org: Did Clinton Darken Obama's Skin?

Some Obama backers cry "racism." We find the accusation to be unsubstantiated.

By Emi Kolawole and Justin Bank | factcheck.org

Summary
Obama supporters on the Internet are agitated over the apparent darkening of Obama's image in a Clinton attack ad.
Our video team took a look. Our conclusions:
The Obama frames from the ad do appear darker than other video of Obama from the same event.
However, the YouTube copy of the ad, on which the bloggers base their conclusions, is darker overall than other copies of the ad. We obtained a digital recording of the ad as it actually appeared on a Texas TV station, and it is lighter.
Furthermore, our analysis of the Obama frames, using Photoshop, shows a fairly uniform darkening of the entire image including the backdrop. It is not just Obama's skin color that's affected.
Also, nearly all the images in the ad are dark, including those of Hillary Clinton. And dark images are a common technique used in attack ads.
Others will speculate about the Clinton campaign's intentions and motives, as they already have. But without further evidence to the contrary, we see no reason to conclude that this is anything more than a standard attempt to make an attack ad appear sinister, rather than a special effort to exploit racial bias as some Obama supporters are saying.

On the way in to work this morning I stopped to get gas. I pulled in, shut off the engine and Keith started yelling, "Eat my pussy! Why won't you eat it? START MUNCH'N!"
How did you know, Keith? A-mazing.

Check the disputed facts on King of Kong from Wikipedia

Walter Day of Twin Galaxies believes that the documentary is dishonest in its portrayal of the actual events. In posts on a Twin Galaxies forum entitled "The King of Kong — Official Statement"[18] he contends, among other things, that:
  • Steve Wiebe actually first beat Tim Sczerby's high score of 879,200 points, posted in 2000 — not Billy Mitchell's 1982 score. (In response, the film's producers claim that "[Tim Sczerby's] consistently disputed record was impossible to verify and did not merit inclusion in the film."[19])
  • Representatives did not sneak into Steve Wiebe's garage and take apart his arcade machine without his permission as implied by the film, but were welcomed by Wiebe and even took photos together and played some games of Donkey Kong with him before Wiebe himself unlocked the machine to allow them to photograph the circuit boards.
  • Billy Mitchell was not always avoiding Steve Wiebe. They met and played together on several occasions before the time period of the film, notably the 2004 Classic Gaming Expo, and they were on very friendly terms — even giving interviews together. In one scene in the film, it is implied that Mitchell drove away from his restaurant when he learned Wiebe was there, but Day contends that in fact Mitchell came in with his whole family and greeted everyone apologetically, including Wiebe.
  • Steve Wiebe actually held the high score record for almost 3 years, and when his videotaped score of 1,006,000 points was rejected, the record actually reverted back to Steve's own previous record — it did not revert to Billy Mitchell's 1982 score as implied by the film.

Day feels that the information presented above "shows that Twin Galaxies did recognize Steve Wiebe's great skills and honor him," and "reveals that Twin Galaxies did not elbow Steve's accomplishment aside so as to protect Billy Mitchell's 874,200 point score."

Screw whether or not the Clinton ad is darkening his skin. Why does she keep endorsing McCain over Obama every time she opens her stupid mouth? Is she trying to make sure the eventual Democratic nominee loses against him this fall? Is she angling for a VP position with him? She sounds like a dumbass.

On the subject of Donkey Kong originally being named Monkey Kong

The original name of Pac Man was supposed to be "Puc Man". But someone realized that with the font used on the side of the arcade console would be easily mistaken for "Fuc Man"

True Story!

Eh, it was a great episode but I didn't really think that was that funny of a prank. Taking advantage of someone who isn't tech savy enough is kinda overdone.
