For god's sake people, this isn't the 90s, not every film has a twist ending.

The 90s? If anything it's worse now.

Seriously, watch the entire movie with this idea. I think there are way too many coincidences between the two characters.

It's just a story to tell a story, in my opinion. I just watched it for the first time the other day because of all the talk about it and it was good, but not great.

Alright then.

Jurassic Park is about Christmas.

A group of adults and children are drawn in by brand-new expensive toys (Dinosaurs), mysteriously hidden by wrapping (electric fences).

When the toys are 'opened' (or freed) they promptly start to kill everyone, taking special relish in those who stand to make money out of it (the lawyer and the man smuggling embryos out). One scene even starts with kids gorging themselves on food amongst mountains of merchandise only to be chased by velociraptors.

By the end of the film, they reject the 'presents' and are flying home as a new family unit, child happily asleep in Sam Neill's arms. They have found the true meaning of Christmas, as a new family unit.

Someone even refers to a velociraptor as a 'six foot turkey' and the man running the park is Richard Attenborough -- Kris Kringle himself!

Does it fit? Yes. Was it intended? I doubt it.

You're only adding to the pretentious point everyone stated about No Country originally. Oh standardman... He's done it again...

How so? I'm not the one searching NCFOM for meaning (and a twist, no less!) that isn't there.

You're right; it was simply horror personified to represent the violence so present in today's time and day. Or was it? Sad, true, solemn and thoughtful.

I'll let my girlfriend Michelle and her sister tell you the rest.

But you probably wouldn't understand because you love rape.

People get offended when you tell them that this movie might have a plot.

Last edited by ZukiTh; 05-31-2008 at 08:28 AM. Reason: said plot; meant point.
