Wat? Conned by a 12-yr old? Ninja, please.

Don't feel bad for him, he sounds like a sack of shit.

hey brolo, you know when you said you were on Jury duty? That was a TV Show. Law and Order, it was NOT REAL.

You remember when you you got busted and went before the judge? That was Real.

Keith, if you want to have a stab at understanding Halo's story, these two videos go through it all, with the people who made it, up to what you have to do in Halo 3.

It doesn't include the stuff outside of the games but that's really extra stuff you don't need. Start's a little promotional, but it picks up. About 8 minutes each, that octopus thing is in the second video...
I'd like to make it clear also- the guy who wrote in about the Halo story is totally fucking wrong. The books are spinoffs of the games, not the other way around. Bungie developed Halo from "scratch" working off of storyline ideas from their previous game Marathon, while incorporating aspects from Ringworld, a Larry Niven novel (excellent author).

That said, the story is pretty cool, but completely unnecessary. I've read one of the Halo novels and it is shit.

I don't even consider myself a Halo fan, but I am a sci-fi and video game junkie, so this shit is interesting to me.

Totally right, the graphic novel is good though. Bunch of short stories from very talented people set around the game's plot. They somehow got Moebius to do one.

But yeah, you don't need to read any of this stuff.

wow I got shouted out on the show LOL. As I said on the post regarding FFL, I'm waiting for the book in the mail and in the meantime I'd like to be proactive and try other things until the book gets to me. Though hearing about eating every 2-3 hours isn't going to be feasible for me b/c of my regular 9-5 job. Damn..
