The TWIT network that Laporte runs is has some the highest downloads out there, on par with the NPR juggernaut.

surprisingly, the photoset you show has lots and lots of kinda accurate descriptions, except where people are far from the bell curve in height or muscle development, it seems like...
I gotta say that site isn't doing a very good job of convincing me that BMI is inaccurate. I'd saying that it's better than 85% of those pics and not horribly off on the other 15%.

This photoset shows images of all different sized people who are considered overweight or morbidly obese on the BMI scale.
Is that to convince me BMI is wrong, becuase 80% of the photos were dead on.

John C. Dvorak makes plenty of money writing for Down Jones' MarketWatch, and for PC Magazine, and for his work with Ziff Davis like Cranky Geeks. The Mevio thing isn't his full-time job, and really he's just poking around with podcasting because he's an established journalist.

But go ahead and continue to rag Mevio, I agree they're a bunch of sheisters.

Also, the French are famous for their 35 hrs workweek and 6 weeks of vacation per year. Most European nations strive for that record, but the French stick to it. The English, work about 28 hrs per week and the Americans tip the scales at 43 hrs.

So maybe if we all have 8 more hours a week we'd get some proper sleep and exercise, I know I would.

It isn't his full-time job, and hes just poking around with podcasting....but he's the VICE PRESIDENT of Mevio? Sweet jesus, are they handing out vice president titles to all part time employees? Can I be one? Do they refer to their janitors as "Senior executives?"

John C. Dvorak is kind of out of touch though! In a few years he'll be another Andy...
