I actually work in Mount Vernon, Ohio and drive by the school every day. While I'm not sure about the crazy cult that the guys email told about, I do know there are a lot of nuts who still think the school is in the wrong for trying to fire the guy. There's a store just down the road from the school with a sign outside that says "We need a president like John Freshwater". Last I checked we already had a religious nut-job in the whitehouse


...............On a side note about couches on front porches. The city of Columbus passed the same law a few years ago. They were having an issue mainly down on campus, because after the Buckeyes would play, people would pull them into the middle of the street and burn them, haha.

However, here's what seems a little weird to me. Nominations and voting aren't open until September 15th but the New Media Expo is August 14th-16th? WTF?
Hasn't the ceremony always been held at the end of the first day of the expo? Whatever.

Chances are if the college students by my old apartment left a couch on the porch, they would have found me the next morning. I have waken up a shit ton of times in the back of a truck or on a real nice lawn.
