I could not believe the ignorance in this episode! Yes, I mean ignorance. There are a great many smaller communities that DO make your big city life possible. I happen to be a very open-minded individual that comes from a small community that happens to work in an office of some smaller town factory.

I will not say that there are not any idiots here. There are plenty, but I heard a couple big city idiots crank on about how smaller towns are simply full of uneducated, fat, lazy, elderly, factory workers. Fine, but I just smirk at the idiocracy of those comments as I picture you walking through your "big city" completely ignorant of where your "big city" buildings come from. I would assume that you think that some big shot architecht not only designed, but supplied, fabricated and erected the buildings that surround you!

For all of those "big city" smarts you have, you sure can't see the big picture!
Maybe that is something that some small town folk can see. I love the city, sometimes I feel more at home in Chicago than I do in my little bumfuck town, but none the less, do some research before making such bold statements!

You added a couple yourself.

Do some research? I've lived in big cities and small towns and everywhere in between. You haven't. Where's YOUR research?

I talk about you on the next show.

A-duh-buh-duh?

I don’t understand why you’re all acting like being “dumb” is a bad thing. Keith and Chemda are at their funniest when they’re at their dumbest. It's hilarious when they mispronounce words (TONS-ee-ah or Tunesia?), or argue about a complicated issue which they don’t quite comprehend (mental illness, the environment, parenting, education, Lyme disease, and the economy, just to name a few recent topics). I’m glad these dummies like to post their conversations online.

to be fair, though, according to MattB, you really cant know anything about it anymore, its completely changed since you were last there, your experience growing up in small town middle america carries as little weight as mine does.

Duh man! You just said it yourself. You feel more at home in the city! You're the exception, not the rule. If what you say is true, that is.

i love it when small town folk, in order to feel important, act like the kazoo factory they still work in helped build the big cities....dont be a moron do you think steel still comes from pittsburgh

and of course when we say all we mean most

but dont act like small towns keep the cities afloat in my experience its almost the opposite even though do rely on each i other ...i never said they didnt...i said people from small towns are dumb

and they are especially when they think they are smart and are convinced how the factory they work in is keeping everyone going all the while the factory ceo's are storing their american earned money off shore so they fuck everyone out of the benefits of keeping the money you earn in your own country-- all the while planning for the factory to close or move without telling the workers...

my advice even if you like small town living...get educated... make your work valuable and unique and utilize modern technology... this way the modern world can still support your small town deisres--sell coins on ebay or some shit then we can leave your dumb dough face bad feedback

also spooky the thing about you havent been to small town america in a while was specifically for you... other people seem to realize its no longer the shangri la that you believe it ever was

PS most of the contractors that build the "big city" are businesses based within the city whose infrastructure maybe extends to the suburbs at best and the actual workers are usually foreign-- and not all illegal

so shut your pie hole before your slack jaw drips that shit on your adult bib doughface!

I have been to 48 states, and most of Canada (only missing West Virginia and Hawaii) and the dough face phenomenon may be more prevalent in small rural towns but they are everywhere! Now, if you are looking at NYC as the ONLY big city in the United States, then maybe the doughface might not be white in NYC.

But really? no doughfaces in Boston? in Los Angeles? in Las Vegas? Everywhere I have been I have encountered MOrons! that could have been catorgized as dough faces.

As a matter of fact the doughface is what the rest of the world sees as American, and that is sad. Sure you can walk down the street in NYC and see tons of educated intelligent folks, but take trip to guido town, visit staten island, or just outside the Big City where it doesn't cost $1000 a sq foot to live there and you'll find more MBAs and Phds

Now, I am sure that people will look at Phooey from TULSA and say that I live in a small town, but that is not true.. Tulsa is a medium town.

I like the fact that I can get anywhere in town with little to no traffic jams at all, and that for the most part anything that I want is here.

I have friends all over the country that will say, "well what is there to do in Tulsa?"

I like to ask them... well, what did you do last week? What did you do? I mean, really... I bet you can do that in many medium sized cities, without all the stress and the super high cost of living. You can buy a very nice house in Tulsa for a little more than $100,000.

Personally, I agree with Keith about those rural people that seem to be drunk 90% of the time, well not really drunk but they seem to have less mental capacity than I would when I am shit faced. not that I am an elitist but there are plenty of dough faced Americans who don't believe in the American dream that you can be or do whatever you want. Those that have been locked in their existence by fear or stupidity.

On a side note... take a look at the locations where Democratic support is strongest.. I bet you would describe those areas as those with less doughfaced people.

Blue are the counties that voted democrat in the 2004 election
