I just downloaded this episode from itunes and it seems to be a old episode re-released. Im not sure what number the episode is but I do remember already listening to this one.

Im not sure if you are aware of this or what the deal is, but just thought i would say it anyways.

Just looked up the episode, its 747: We rule, They drool.

I'm sitting listening to the back and forth between Chemda and McNally, trying to diagnose what McNally's condition is. Is he just self-centered? Or is there some sort of emotional retardation involved here? Is it a flavor of aspie's that he's got? Not being able to put oneself in someone else's shoes or empathize with other points of view ... a mild psychopath?

One, two, princes kneel before you
(thats what I said, now)
Princes, princes who adore you
(just go ahead, now)
One has diamonds in his pockets
(that sounds great, now)
This one, said he wants to buy you lockets
(aint in his head, now)

This one, he got a princely racket
(thats what I said, now)
Got some big seal upon his jacket
(aint in his head, now)
Marry him, your father will condone you
(how bout that, now)
Marry me, your father will disown you
(hell eat his hat, now)

Aww, marry him or marry me,
Im the one that loves you b baby cant you see?
Aint got no future or a family tree,
But I know what a prince and lover ought to be,
I know what a prince and lover ought to be....

Said, if you want to call me baby
(just go ahead, now)
An if youd like to tell me maybe
(just go ahead, now)
An if you wanna buy me flowers
(just go ahead, now)
And if youd like to talk for hours
(just go ahead, now)

At the end of the show, Keith says:
"Mkl saying the George Rhab says on his own podcast..." blah blah blah

I never sent anything like that to Keith, so I'm just curious, who sent that to him? Keith may have just gotten the name wrong I am sure. Not that it really matters, but I doubt there is a me imposter running around...so I am just curious who I was confused with...At least they didn't say something dumb.

I think he's just really pissed. He's not a psychopath, although I can see how somebody might think he's a sociopath. I think he's acting like he has empathy deficit disorder.

He's unable or unwilling to acknowledge other people's feelings about it. When pressured to, he kind of hits a brick wall and diverts. He does it catastrophically at 1h30 ish, when Potatoe tries to confront him.

I think you guys should turn the tables and leave random friends with McNally when he has a date and have a rake through his bedroom, that might stir up some empathy

His behaviour was wrong despite his playful and goofing intentions, and refusing to admit he did something wrong does not paint him in a sympathetic light sadly.

There is a difference between not doing something because someone told you not to do it again and understanding why what you did was wrong. McNally got defensive right off the back, no one was trying to humiliate him (maybe it did come off that way), we were trying to understand him and trying to get him to understand us. At least that's what I took away from it all.

Don't be so hard on him. By the time Chembda had stripped the problem down to its core, they'd be at it for some time. Kudos to Chembda for actually getting to the root cause of the issue, she'd make a great psychologist, but I don't think the issue could have been resolved in one go. McNally needed time to regroup, calm down and think about it. Lots of people would have reacted the same way.

It made great radio though.
