You're not wrong. If I remember the episode right, the cruise line did call Chemda two weeks before the cruise saying they never book more than one comic because they have a contract with him/her and that comic knows how to tell jokes that won't offend anyone so they never have other comics on whether it's public or private. Chemda told them to go fuck themselves, told the dude to tell Carnival it was an AA Meeting or whatever but they better make it happen.

Then you come in and say that Carnival is lying because they have had comedy cruises with multiple comics. The question is though is whether those cruises were basically private cruises for just that show or did was it a public cruise like this one that just happened to have a comedy show and its fans on the cruise along with regular patrons?

All of the KATG events were private. There were a few crashers who had a good time though...

I think it was basically the same thing. You could go do the public stuff but you had to be a part of the show group to see the private shows.
