Just for the record, I've been a Carlin fan since my first copy of "Toledo Window Box"....on 8-track.
What does that mean? It means I'm old. Now you kids get off of my lawn.

And I'm with Keith on the book thing....Carlin, Paul Reiser, Ellen, Cosby...all the big names have bowdlerized their own work to cobble together a "book", and it's been immediately apparent to anyone who listens to comedy.
As I'm typing this, I'm trying to think of a standup comedian who's actually written an "original" book, but I can't come up with one. Anyone?

i assumed everyone knew about Carlin, and the 7 dirty words was classic...

i dont have his cd's but i do have his DVD collection, and HBO specials..and yes i own it!!!

Leo Laporte isn't just "some guy." He's been around for ages, he was a staple on TechTV before Comcast bought it out and ruined it with G4. Anyway, great show as always.
