I should clarify. Getting my hair done and getting a haircut are two different things.

Hair Done: You cannot speak too much English. The service rendered is either Hair Straightening(Relaxer) or Blow Dry. The less English you speak the more likely you will have disregard for conventional Salon tactics (In my experience) and Straighten my hair within an inch my actual life.

Hair Cut: Kristi at Hair Metal. She speaks all the English and gives me tea and we have conversation. It's a lovely time for all involved.

RE: Voting.

I'd like to see legislators...once they are elected...have to take a quiz on the legislation they are voting on before they vote.

A while back, Nader offered to pay anyone in the legislature to read about a law before it was passed (I think it was NAFTA). The one guy who took him up on it said he was for it before he actually read it, then changed his mind.

I just say that keanu can't ever not be ted (or bill?) from bill and ted's excellent adventure. I really liked the first matrix movie but the part where he's being interrogated and goes "How bout I show you the finger, and you give me my phone call" was pure ted (or bill?). Had to laugh.
I stopped paying attention to the Matrix after the first ten minutes of the second one, when I felt i was watching a rave at Mtv's Spring Break Zion.
