Hannibal's stand-up seemed a little reminiscent of Mitch Hedburg, the cadence and the strange yet very amusing comments, if you know what i mean, and very funny.

It was a shock to hear a comment from punk'n (represent KC) and it did make me feel a little odd for making my joke earlier in the day about voting twice.

Med weed is getting more strict up here. Sure some are legal some not so much - but hell, yeah - it is amazing for temporary pain relief.

I have gotten more info, and I have to be admitted to the hospital pain clinic for two weeks. Do the plan and meetings and more tests, then I can get the 'script for the med weed.

The med weed that way is in pill form.

I'm just happy with what I can do now. It's easier than all that.
Fits in my health plan anyway.

A quick thing about Colorado's discrimination thing. It's just a politically correct way of destroying affirmative action. It runs on the platform of non discrimination and equality, but all it really means is that employers now actually HAVE THE RIGHT to discriminate. Its dumb.

Also our state's abortion thing got annihilated 72% voted no.

"Separation of church and state"

Hi Keith, I've heard you mention this a few times. The only "separation" is that the government will not establish a state sponsored religion. That's it, nothing more. It doesn't mean government cannot be associated with any religion or
conduct related activities in a religious building or with a cross in the area.
Great show!!

Hannibal sounds a lot like Mitch Hedberg.

Weird, I really dont get the comparisons to Mitch Hedberg. He reminded me more of a tired F-Mos, funny guy but not the stand up type to me. Regardless, I did enjoy him as a guest and his stand up at the end was listenable, but nothing to compare to Mitch.

Completely disagree with Keith about the med marijuana thing. My aunt had cancer and during her treatment she'd get so sick that she threw up several times at the doctors place. They gave her some sort of medication but it didn't work for her and then gave her pot which worked a lot better for her. She ended up dying not to long after, but I can't imagine her with cancer trying to find a dealer when that treatment was the first time she ever tried the stuff. Whats wrong with smoking a little pot to have the last days of your life a little more peaceful?

I think the excuse that if pot was legal it'd be abused is bullshit. When will people decide for themselves whats good and bad? Chemda had it right, the pills doctors prescribe are no better -- they still have side effects, still can be abused. We need to learn personal responsibility, people should be cautious of everything they consume -- legal drugs, illegal drugs, even food. If we continue to rely on the FDA to tell us everything that's good and bad we'll continue to be a nation of dummies too stupid to question these drugs ourselves.
