I love the new /chat features - having the cams on large is really cool.

And I am sorry to hear that Chemda has such a tough time at the doctor. It makes me really glad that for me its just a mildly anoying 10 Minute once a year event "hi how are you? Anything changed in your health status since last year? - pants off - insides exam - pants on - top off - boobies exam - top on - out the door". The worst thing so far was getting an internal ultrasound and that is just way to similar to a Dildo and I really can't look my doc in the eyes afterwards

It looks like Mike the Intern played Call of Duty and deleted all my progress by starting a new solo game. Was that an Alpha Male move?

Nope, just an intern move.

The Girl's gasps were lol gold during the "neg" discussion.

Michael the Intern: It's a novel.
Keet: So it's non-fiction?
Michael the Intern: Yeah.

Hm.

I think Chemda is a bit quick to judge the PUA material. I've studied a variety of it for an extended period of time. I don't study it anymore because I've gotten to a point where I simply don't need the crutch.

Social skills are skills and some people need practice. Chemda seems to understands people naturally, she is naturally personable and doesn't need to 'practice' getting better at it. So of course, all this would seem a little rediculous.

It's also important to realize that many of these guys that buy this stuff are incredibly hopeless. They need a ton of help, and have very little common sense about this kind of stuff. Thus, they also need a lot of training to get better at it.

Some of the teachers of the material break it down into different stages. This is extremely helpful to these socially akward types that need to practice each stage, and would be overwelmed with trying to learn everything from the start. The reason the phone numbers are so emphasized, is that it's the first stage of an interaction. Approaching is the part that most men find the most difficult and it's the first thing that happens in every interaction. If you can get to a point where you can get a phone number a high % of the time, you can then start mastering the next part of the interaction.

Before my experience with this stuff, I was a complete social retard and I wanted to kill myself. Now, I am much more comfortable with who I am, and people generally like me more and I am much happier.

I wasn't always good at socializing. I was extremely shy as a kid. I had a hard time looking at people let alone talking to them. I am fine now but I worked on it and always will work on getting better.

I get the concept of learning how to socialize. I think it's important for social and business situations. I just think this particular guy is an ass and I think that he does't fit ALL people. What I said on the show is that it's important to pick the right book for the right person. If this one helped you then great.

I have a very casual relationship with my gyno. I've been known to crack or joke a two while having a surgical steel medical instrument in my hooha. No biggie.

I did, however, once have a colposcopy. A tiny medieval looking device that just bit off a piece of my cervix. They don't numb you for that mess.

Now that you mention it, I remember you talking about your shyness.

I do agree with you that the right book is important. I appologize for misunderstanding you.

Let me clarify. The Game is about 2 years of the life of Neil Strauss that he spent learning about the game and the crazy life that followed. All of it is true. I always seem to use the word 'novel' wrong.

My bad. The menus to that game are confusing and misleading.
