Anyone else think that Mike rating Myka a 7 may have been a deliberate neg and thus leave Myka ready for the taking (so to speak).

Did Keith say the PUA had got with 50,000 women? Well lets even assume that he didn't have sex with all of them, the maths isn't adding up there.
If he is around 30 years old and he has been sexually active since the age of 16, thats 14 years of poontang. Now, 50,000 women in 14 years would mean he needed to get an average of just under 10 women per day. I suspect that those figures might have been fudged somewhat.

Most amusing when Myka started to explain what Salvia was and Chemda interjects 'Oh THEY know'

I thought Intern Mike acquitted himself very well in his on-air debut. Now he must be pimped-up and dispatched on some pick-up field operations (under the direction of Keith and Chemda) to make that episode of KATG TV...

Well, she did say it would have worked when she was younger and not as worldly, which still reinforces Chemda's point. But in general, if someone is easily manipulated, then yeah this stuff will work on her. Chicks with low self-esteem are easy marks. Drunk chicks are easy marks -- why else would "The Game" be played almost solely in bars? Everybody knows these things. This PUA stuff isn't new or revolutionary. These guys just put a name on it and packaged it in order to sell it. This is the guy self-help realm. For women, self-help is aimed at losing weight and feeling good about yourself. For men, self-help is aimed at getting laid and feeling good about yourself. It's all the same shit.

I had to look up Mystery after hearing this show. I guess this dude started out as a "mentalist."

I get the concept of learning how to socialize. I think it's important for social and business situations. I just think this particular guy is an ass and I think that he does't fit ALL people. What I said on the show is that it's important to pick the right book for the right person. If this one helped you then great.
Now that you mention it, I remember you talking about your shyness.

I do agree with you that the right book is important. I appologize for misunderstanding you.

After the relationship book, Keith and Chemda should write their own version of "How to Win Friends and Influence People." Brother Love & Keith should write a book about picking people up.

Myka's "That's wildely inappropriate." was funny.

I am currently the same way Myka said she was when she was younger...Working on fixing it.

Also, this is reminds me of Dmitri the Lover. Wonder if he got his skill from these books too.

I dont think the figures were fudged, and I know am right when I say this guy is a fucking liar. Also, I dont feel out of place or out of the scope of my normal mean self when I say that anyone who bought into this literally or figuratively is a fucking idiot. If they have brain washed themselves into believeing that they are normal now, wrong. Sounds like a bunch sheltered or socially under stimulated children have almost finally half grown up. Maybe if this guy came out with his system on x-box you fucking socially inept weirdos would have a chance.

stay in your basements, someone need to keep world of war kraft going.

Gyno fantasy

My wife isn't quite as bad as Chemda and Myka with the gyno thing, but she still doesn't enjoy it. Evidently some women do, though: one time we went to a swingers' club and up in the fantasy rooms, one of them was a gynocological exam room. So go figure.

It's for cursory checks for cooties.

Actually, every book I have came across has said that bars are the worst place to play the game especially starting out. Bars may simply be more convenient to use it simply because of the number of women available (i.e. shotgun effect). Manipulation is a harsh word to be using although you are not far off. PUAs are simply giving the women what they want to hear and feel. Sort of like playing poker if you already know what is in the other person's hand.

I'm very certain Dimitri is a PUA. As soon as I first heard it I saw the subtle PUA tricks that he tried (and failed) to use.

You want to elaborate on that?

-------------------------------------------------

I'm really glad some of you enjoyed what I had to say.

In Conclusion: (now that I have a moment to put some eloquence in my words)
Do not refer to me as a "pick up artist" or "the guy that plays the game" or any derivative thereof hereafter.

The Game changed my life. Whether it was for better or for worse is not for me to say, but it did. It was a time where I had no hope and reading these books gave it to me. It gave me to ability to change. I was never really into the Outer Game (the gestures and gimmicks, the "canned material") but the Inner Game was more profound than anything. I was able to see the world from a different perspective. My train of thought had always been "Just be quiet because when you talk you bother everyone." I was able to get out of that slump when the books made me realize everyone else is just as lonely is me. That girl sitting alone across the room is lonely, and I can make her loneliness stop. I deserve to be happy so I grab happiness by the throat. Of course it sounds stupid to everyone else except me, and I don't care. We all have our demons.

Everyone needs to stop judging the Game so harshly. If you have not read The Game by Neil Strauss then you know nothing. This is only the tip of the iceberg. Even if you wish to pursue pick up it is still a damn good book. I inadvertently called The Game a novel because it is written as a story; it is not at all an instruction manual.

"There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so." -Hamlet, Act II scene ii
