870: 1st Annual KATGuh Awards

Yeah, I thought there were going to be a lot more categories because of the length of the show. When it ended I thought something was wrong with my file because it only felt like half an hour or something.

I guess with all the stuff to cover, there's no way this one could ever have felt complete, but what a great way to revisit everything.

How controversial to have a Best Guest catg., a lot of peoples feelers may have been hurt, but what an honor if you won! Maybe an idea for next years awards? But with all the "red pen incidents" in society today, making everyone feel special, it could never work..... All the guests are equally good am i right? blaaa.....

It was easier to do moments fot this year. I don't think I would have had the time to set up clip packages for guests.

I am quite surpised that Patrices rant on show 430: The B-Word didn't get nominated. That rant is lolz.

The start of the show was so energetic when Keith yelled "party super party" (not that he doesn't every show :P) and the fact i was looking forward to this show got me in high spirits. So when i got side swiped with the clip of brolo talking about his mother in a show i haven heard before it completely took me unawares and i really got a bit emotional. Since i was at work listening to this i had to excuse myself and walk to get a coffee. I'm not normally such a pussy with stuff like this and i don't know him but hearing happy go lucky brolo talk about what happend in that light really hit home. Anyway i live 5 hours away from my family so only go back home for Christmas for a handful if days (coincedently I'm going home today) and feel thanks to that clip im going to appreciate it more this year. Thanks Brolo and KATG and i hope you all have an awesome Christmas and a brilliant "PARTYYyYYYyYy SUUUUper Party" new years.

During Christmas celebrations lastnight, Journey's "Don't Stop Believing" came on and i instantly thought of Bobby Mitchell's 74hr Podcast proformance. He definitely has my vote for that.

Not to mention the sweet, sweet break-up song he played.

I absolutely loved this episode. For me it was like the ultimate 'best of' show - with recaps of some of my favorite moments and some of the most significant events/stories.
