Like what Keith said, I do hear a little hostility or a little sarcasm in that apology, like he's not exactly sure what he's apologizing for, and he's just saying "fuck it, I just can't do anything right." He's probably being sincere, but that's just how it comes across. |

I never post before listening to an episode, but I have to admit I just gasped with a bit of delight when I saw the title of this episode.... Downloading now so I can listen at the gym...
*edit* I hate to be one of the dorks that does this.... but no file to download? I was hoping to have it on the ipod for my workout. Last edited by memecherry; 01-28-2009 at 09:05 PM. |

I think you should rename the show "Douchebag Intervention"
The intern has the capacity to grow up a decent guy. He just needs a daddy to slap him around. And Tatoe is that daddy. |

Let's just pretend that the second submission never happened. Tanks!
Comedy is kind of a weird thing, when I recorded it and played it for my friends... everyone nods, laughs and says "that's great man, better than the first one" (I definitely think a lot of it is telling you what they think you want to hear). Hearing it back on the show, even I was like "wow, get to the point... this sucks." and I recorded the damn thing. Guess a sense for what works and what doesn't comes with experience and shit. PS - Oh yeah.... Shoog Bear came from Sugar Bear, my nickname from high school. It did come from the cereal character. Last edited by shoogbear63; 01-28-2009 at 10:50 PM. |
