A five minute sermon about Christian porn or other progressive/aggressive subjects? -- sure, what the hell? I'd give it a shot.

Of course, the room may get struck by lightning; but, there will be a fair amount of drinking so we won't really feel it that much. There is nothing that takes the harsh edge off the wrath of God like a little too much alcohol.

BTW: thank you for saving me (and the listeners) from myself. Perhaps "Awesome God" was not meant to be sung that way.

Finally, where can I go vote for that Canadian chick? She was my fav.

Great episode gang! I always enjoy Thursdays with Patrice! I was shocked to hear about how ridiculous the whole Stand Up contest is getting. People are now lashing out on their own little podcasts because Keith 'made fun of you'? Grow the fuck up! Comedy (Stand Up, especially) is always going to be subjective, which means your submission either genuinely sucked ass or it just wasn't their thing. The End. I submitted two this year, one was only played halfway and the other never even aired. So now I should blog about how horrible Keith and Chemda are?! Spice my angry tirade up with racist comments?! Grow the fuck up! And remember, there's always next year..... smile everyone

I agree Dan. I've always thought Keith & Chemda have been good judges of what works on their show. If you do the math, who has the more successful show? K&C or the detractors?

Mike, I had such high hopes for you today. JBT is just about the funniest thing I've ever heard. I think you just need to find your comedy genre.

I gotta admit doing a standup submission was like wearing someone elses underware. It was fun but I have my own grooves.

I really dug Corrino's bit from this show, the Christian Wrestling bit had me laughing pretty hard. Paste's and Ashley's as well. Good to see some quality submissions coming in.

I don't know why, but when the comedy submissions start being played, I always get so damn nervous that mine isn't going to be played. Not that I don't want it to be, and not that K+C are hardasses, but I'm so desperate for it to be out of the way sooner, because my heartrate increases, especially when Keith said "I've actually got two more that I want to play..."
