Canadian race relations are not great at all. If you do some research you'll find out just how much they've fucked native people here. Even now many live in reservations that are worse than any city ghetto. And there are plenty of ghetto black people in Toronto. In fact, I've seen some documentary that mentioned that Canada invented ghettos - as far as the style of neighbourhoods and buildings, etc. that you typically find in ghettos.

Was kidding actually, here in downtown Montreal - we have plenty of all races. A lot of french speaking immigrants come here in droves ( ie- lot of muslims, parts of Africa, etc ).

*LOL* why would we call them AFRICAN rather than AFRICAN-AMERICAN? We tend to refer to them as "black" ( if for some reason we have to refer to them by race ) or by region/country they're from ( such as "trinidadian"). I know my youngest brother is black ( he's adopted ) and he tends to wince at the term "AFRICAN-AMERICAN" because:
1) he's not African
2) he's not American
and African-Canadian just sounds awkward at best.

Who said that our race relations are perfect? Hell, we stole land from the Indians way before you even got here - and they're still pissed off about it.
