Speaking of douchebags thinking it's cool to beat the shit out of people in big-head costumes - Randall Simon, then a first baseman with the Pittsburgh Pirate thought it would be funny to hit one of the Miller Park Sausage racers with a fucking baseball bat! The sausage he hit was a woman.

What if Simon had just walked out to the field and hit a random woman in the head with a baseball bat? That would clearly be assault and he would be thrown out of baseball on the spot. But the bitch was in an big-head costume, so she had it coming?

On July 9, 2003, Randall Simon, then the first baseman of the Pittsburgh Pirates, hit the head of a runner's costume with a baseball bat. The tap didn't hit the human head of Mandy Block who was wearing the Italian Sausage costume, but it did knock her over, and she took the Hot Dog down with her. The Polish Sausage helped the Italian Sausage up and all sausages finished the Race. Simon was arrested and paid a fine, and was suspended by Major League Baseball for three games. He later apologized. Block asked only that the offending bat be autographed and given to her. Simon obliged. Since that incident, T-shirts and other memorabilia popped up with the now infamous words, "Don't whack our wiener!"

Simon was traded to the Chicago Cubs later that season (for reasons unrelated to the incident). He returned to Milwaukee with the Cubs for a series against the Brewers. During the first game, Simon's teammates playfully held him back as the sausages raced past their dugout, and manager Dusty Baker guarded the bat rack. In that same game, Simon purchased Italian sausages for a randomly chosen section of the crowd.

Keith sounds like the opposite of a libertarian to me. Most libertarians are against larger government and the death penalty. Keith wants the police to monitor criminals and then kill them even for littering. This would not only set up a huge bureaucracy, but is against the libertarian theory that it is morally wrong for anyone to kill people. He also has compassion for poor people and I think I heard him say that he's okay with anti-drug laws. Libertarians believe adults should put whatever they want in their own body. For the record, I'm fine with most of Keith's opinions and think he makes good points, I just don't think he'd make a good libertarian. I think people just voted for it because they didn't think he was Republican or Democrat. I went with Republican.

who the hell voted libertarian? a libertarian is a person who wants the gov't to stay away from everything = have no laws about drugs, have no regulations about anything etc...

keith is a republican. the fact that the reigning republicans are douches homophobes zenophobes is their fault, they are the ones who are not the true republicans, keith is.
