Dear Jesse Joyce,
Even though you don't partake in the drinking involved in celebrating Cinco de Mayo, I feel compelled to correct the factoid that flew out of your mouth in reference to it (mostly just because I relish the thought of correcting Mr Trivial Pursuit) Cinco de Mayo does NOT celebrate Mexican Independence day. The holiday commemorates the Mexican army's unlikely victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862. The outnumbered Mexicans defeated a much better-equipped French army that had not been defeated in almost 50 years. A common misconception in the United States is that Cinco de Mayo is Mexico's Independence Day, which actually is September 16. But all in all Cinco de Mayo is another excuse for us latinos to get drunk regardless of the day of the week! |

Jesse Joyce is a mother-fucking fucker fuck. His wilful ignorance of British history is shameful - there's no proof that Jean-Claude Van Damme speaks English because we raped his grandmother. We demand a retraction. The British are fucking ace, and it's a tragedy our attempts to civilise the world go unrecognised. You'd live in a superior, more enlightened world had the British Empire not fallen. Accept this truth.
You, sir, are a ridiculous fake-Irish, douche-licking, ass-hat. Your history is flawed and your earring is gay. We await your apology. |

Jesse already explained various times his relationship with the Brits. He actually had a very long argument on that on a not distant show (maybe Jeremy could help on that).
Doc, have you read Jimmy Norton's book? He's one of my favourite comedians around (i actually think he should do more stand-up, and leave O&A to their fighting), but some of the stuff on the book was way creepy. |
