I guess I'm one of the people who ruined the poll because I counted my financial contributions to podcasters who otherwise supply free downloads. I didn't read that the question was specifically about musicians. Whoops, sorry.

The last time I downloaded anything on the "honor system," it was Stephen King's free e-book that he stopped writing in a hissy fit because nobody was paying for the downloads. I think it was called "The Plant" or something. Shit, that was like eight years ago. I'm lazy about finding stuff online.

If I am remembering correctly through the haze of my drunken stupor, I handed Brenna something like $15 at the Merit show.

He finished that one. They even made it into a stupid movie. I have Keith's disease when it comes to Stephen King. I have to read/watch everything of his no matter how dumb it is.

I found a CNET article about "The Plant." LINK

The story was weird. This editor at a publishing firm rejects this creepy manuscript, the guy sends him a plant, and it takes over the office. There was some kind of demonic ritual stuff going on, too. But he never finished the damned thing!

Just finished listening to the Merit show from last week, I love Breanna's voice, both singing and talking I mean - hawt.

Downloading album now & just donated even before I've heard the album, totally worth it after the rockin' show they put on last week at Arlene's grocery last week. Cheers guys !

The only erson who seems to make decent movies out of his books, is Darabont (Not counting Kubrick, for various reasons)...

Did you like Duma Key? I thought it was his best in a while...

It's taking me awhile to get to that one b/c it's too big to lug around on my bus commute -- but now I have a Kindle. I should see if it's available on there.

I completely lied on this poll. I said that I didn't but then I remembered I bought some stuff from this site because they have free podcast. My bad.
