Kiss are a notorious pain in the ass whe it comes to volumes ans stage lightinh requests. They even cut down poor Ted Nugent stage antics when they toured with him...
One of the weirdest requests i've heard was from Danzig (ex Misfits). Basically whoever was on tour with him was officially requested that they shouldnt make eye contact or talk to him in any way in the back stage. I swear, i'm not making it up. My heart goes to the poor workers that have to satisfy those requests. I had a similar experience about a month ago. I had to work out the catering and the various requests from the memebers of a folk/fusion band that had about 20 musicians fro various parts of the world. We had them as one of the main events for a festival that the NPO i work for organized. They had 20 different specific requests, some of them almost incompatible (there were muslims that had their own rules, orthodox jew musicians, smokers, vegans, etc). We couldnt hire professional catering, so we had to deal with it on our own., A nightmare. I liked their music but after that i wanted to kill them all. PS "Culture Shock" cant come out soon enough.... Last edited by Junkenstein; 04-23-2009 at 05:15 AM. |

My husband and I have run into people at the gym, who have recognized the tattoo and his hat. It is always a little trippy, with us being in Indy, it feels like we are so far away from other KATGers.

Hashtags on twitter
Think of using hashtags as a means of broadcasting your tweets to people who aren't necessarily following you. The hashtag itself is the channel so to speak. So, what you do is go to search.twitter.com and search for a specific hashtag, one of the more popular hashtags is #follofriday. Some people use them to make games like #movieideas. So if I go to search.twitter.com and search for #keithandthegirl you will see everyone who twittered and used that hashtag regardless of whether you are following them or not.

I definitely hear Keith on the stage dumps thing. Anytime we do a gig, no matter where it is or how many we've done before they always seem to happen. Can't eat anything within a few hours of a show.

I am in Oregon and wore my KATG shirt to the gym yesterday. A lot of people looked at the shirt, then looked at me, then looked at the shirt and smiled. A kid, probably high school age, kept looking at the shirt and then looking at me to see if he could place who I was. When I left the gym, one of the employees asked me who Keith and the Girl was because she thought the logo was cute. I told her they are an awesome comedy podcast, and that she needs to check out the website. Just doing my part to spread the word!

I was looking at cursebird, and the overall swear count for cunt is up an astonishing 53%. I think it's fair to give all the credit to @keithmalley. Nice work sir!
Also, Sexy PotatoE's worldwide rank is in 3000 or something. |

While I haven't yet had a proper Wednesday experience, I have certainly had a lot of people who I have seen several days, weeks or even months later, claim that they love the podcast and are now regular listeners. As I am unable to lie convincingly, nor to tell when ever anyone else lies (unless I assume that everyone is lying all the time), I can't tell for sure if they have really listened, unless I when query them they correctly state what was in one of the last podcasts. That happens about half the time. From the results of my questions, I think there may be about fifty more listeners from my efforts. Who knows for sure? Not me! |
