DJ - the test is a quick screening tool, the determination is a medical diagnosis based on specific criteria. Alcoholic does not mean addicted, it can mean alcohol abusive, or alcohol dependent. I am a DAPA (Drug and Alcohol Program Administer) in the military. I spend a lot of time dealing with young adults trying to learn how to become responsible social drinkers. I also deal with some mid-career individuals who have a poor relationship with alcohol. I do not diagnose, but I do screen and assure individuals follow after care program. The path I see most alcoholics take is avoidance.

So what's your take? From all you know from the show, do either Keith or BroLo come across as addicted or alcoholics?

The big difference is some people are pre-disposed to dependent, others abusive.
I would estimate both would likely be alcohol abusive. Drinking that much, that often, at that age is not normal social drinking. I would not be surprised if either came up dependent.

No not at all - some people will never become alcoholics, others are genetically predisposed toward alcoholism. It is like being born with a disease that will trigger after your 101st alcoholic beverage.
