Chemda's description of New Orleans is dead on. Most locals stay out of the quarter but we for sure don't step foot on Bourbon St. (Imagine Time Square but with the persistent scent of puke and beer).

I will say if you don't drink or like to party New Orleans is a hard town to enjoy cause that's all people do here. There is always an opportunity to go to a festival, drink, do drugs, have sex, and listen to music. Oh and eat, good god do they eat here. They are trying to kill people. Saw FRIED bread pudding on a menu the other day.

Coming from New York I was shocked at how much people party here and that's saying something.

Also The first hour of A Star is Born is perfection especially if you like music movies like Almost Famous, Grace of My Heart, or Laurel Canyon. The second half falls into Cliche but I def recommend and I've seen it twice so far.

I love A Star is Born and love Bianca for defending A Star is Born and I'm looking forward to Chemda loving A Star is Born. Addiction & music - it's like it was designed for her - I think she'll appreciate the cinematography too.

Some highlights featured in the USA Today review:
He intriguingly emphasizes the artists' point of view rather than the audience’s in the musical scenes, shows a knack for making everything count (from background visuals to song lyrics) and has something to say about music, love, celebrity and the transporting triumph of making a joyful noise.

I'm interested in Chemda's thoughts on STAR.

Cinematography and music were great, yeah, but the drama was just SO dramatic. While she might relate to the drunk/enabler relationship that's shown, the drama is also stupid. I dunno if it's just that she's not a very good actress but Gaga's lines during any pivotal scene sounded like they were written stupidly. Arguments and ideas felt like they were missing 1/4 of the content. I dunno. Lets get a grade from Chemda

also, sidenote, I couldn't remember if Gaga was jewish or italian but this ep will make sure I remember forever
