I really liked Chemda's poker story! Everyone else sounded sad but the way Chemdes worked their way through the crowds, I liked how they viewed these humans and gave us the deets on them.

That's a real shitbird thing that Hennessy didn't invite his own friends to the wedding until he was nagged to care about his childhood people. What the heck is up with that?

Yeah, I usually zone out during poker/drug/dream stories but I really dug Chemda's poker story too, especially because it wasn't just a bunch of zzzzz-inducing game/hand details like a lot of poker nerds fall into, it was more about Chemda's people-watching and also about a new/"exotic" environment.

Also - and this is just between you and me - even though I pretend to roll my eyes whenever Chemda talks about Xerxes because I want to be like everybody else and fit in, I secretly enjoy hearing about those two crazy lovebirds having a bunch of fun together.
