All the Gilmore Girls critiques are bringing me so much joy.

Also, I think couples therapy only works if they still care for one another and the problems are rooted in miscommunication. If someone is DONE, or they have totally different values, it's useless. Some people need a therapist as a translator for mismatched and poor communication styles, and many of us are so ill-equipped as far as emotional vocabulary.
