His name's Scott Pilgrim, now.

I went all over the place IN THE GREAT NYC looking for Scott Pilgrim vol. 5. Did they have it? No! Of course not? Why would they? It's ONLY THE GREATEST CITY IN THE WORLD WITH THE MOST FAMOUS COMIC SHOPS! FORBIDDEN PLANET? St. MARK'S? NOTHING! NOT ONE COPY!!!! THOSE FUCKS!!!!!!

You remember that Scott Pilgrim nerd-fest we had on the cruise? It intrigued Newsy enough that he started reading Scott Pilgrim because of it. Sweet!

In a way, I think it's lucky that I can't actually draw. All you good artists have to slave away, working hard to make things good. I just draw some shit in 2 minutes, and no one expects it to be good, so it doesn't matter that it looks like hell. So it's nice and easy and fun.

But there's no question that legit artists have way prettier looking stuff than me. I mean, check this out, from Starline's comic:

Everyone is a consistent height, limbs are reasonably proportioned, there's an actual sense of perspective... it's fucking crazy. Meanwhile, my art is picking up where I left off when I was seven years old.

good stuff, has a bit of pbf in it, I think having a "style" of drawing would improve them greatly, but then I guess they wouldn't be shitty.

Ha ha! Wait 'til you get reasonably better. Your brain is automatically going to want to make you improve... and then you'll be screwed like the rest of us.

This is how I started:

I love the Perry Bible Fellowship. I proudly display his book on my coffee table as often as possible...

Matt Bray knows the guy who draws that strip. They used to go to school together. I first heard of it back in the porn store, one of the employees had a bunch printed out behind the counter.
