It's a scam. Anyone that wants to use an escrow company is scamming you. Do not buy this unless you can pay cash and see the product working.

from craiglist.org:

distant seller suggests use of an online escrow service.

most online escrow sites are FRAUDULENT, operated by scammers
for more info, do a google search on "fake escrow" or "escrow fraud"
