I was just wondering what is better to fight racism.

We still have racists here, that’s for sure.

Except even before the US started keeping records on race people were still racists. Not checking a box on a government form doesn't magically make racism go away. In the US - it's a systemic problem.

Apia, I’ve often wondered the same when looking at South Africa with it’s racial history... all their official forms want you to state your ethnicity. It felt so weird when I applied to study at university on distance there, but here in Namibia we don’t have that and are far more chilled. We are not without issues, but there isn’t that massive emphasis on race in everything.
