Richard Marcinko is a god

This may not ring true for non military type people but if you get a chance to read up on Richard Marcinko, I.E. Rogue Warrior, Seal Team Six, Red Cell, you may learn what it means to be a man and protect our country. Rogue Warrior is the autobiography of Dick Marcinko and how he became a seal, created seal team six (which recently killed bin laden) and commanded red cell, the unit that tested American base security (and showed the weakness within our military). I personally feel the majority of American youth could use a stint in one of our country's branches of the military. A review of Mr Marcinko's history and aggressiveness may inspire more people to man up and stop being a bunch of pussy's. That is all

If you're into gaming you can also check out the game Rogue Warrior where you can play as Marcinko who is voiced by Mickey Rourke. It was completely shit on by reviewers but never played it myself.

The Giant Bomb guys did a hilarious quick look.

At this point I may be a little too old to join the armed forces. Though I would totally be down for going through boot camp if I didn't have to go to war afterward. Hmm there should be like a fantasy boot camp, where you could join and go through boot camp training. I'd totally save up my vacation time and sign up for something like that.

Ya, I watched the reviews on YouTube, and they said the game was complete shit. They gave it one out of five stars so I never got around to playing it. But Richard Marcinko really motivates me with his take no shit attitude. His autobiography and his two leadership books are amazing, I've never read his fiction books but I'm sure I will one day.

That's what I was thinking. I love his true life shit he had to deal with. I've held off on reading his fiction because I figure real life is better then made up stuff.

I read a couple of these approx 10 years ago, and recall it being way better than the Tom Clancy stuff I was reading.
