On the klepto note, yes I am one, but I don't shit where I eat. I've learned how to maintain at work. Other stores however are fair game.

Hate my job.
HAAAATEEEE! my job. I work in tech support. 80% are douchey nerds with their little nerd rage that they have to let out and complain a lot. I get sick of hearing it every day. I've found the one thing to combat it is talk to them in person. They are all jerky behind email and IM. Confront them on their shit face to face and they back down every time. A couple of them are my supervisors too. Wish the economy was better so I could find another job faster. Been putting up with this shit for 3 months.

I love my job. There are some people that I think are dick holes and idiots, but you find them everywhere. In general, I couldn't ask for a better employer. Maybe better health insurance, but even that's not really bad, just wish I had better dental.

To say I hated my last job is an extreme understatement. I worked for a big company where I was just a number and any independent thought was frowned upon. It was basically every office stereotype melted down and poured scorching hot over my self respect every morning when I punched in.
My so called manager (formerly of McDonalds fame) took great pleasure in talking down to everyone and hiding behind snide, condescending emails rather than talk to you in person. She would go so far as to see you doing something she could somehow find fault with, say nothing and rush past you back to her desk, only to email you to complain moments later. The only relief I got was being just as jolly back to her and making toys and characters out of office supplies. I sat there all day, every day for about a year and a half, doing this: Double click, Copy, Click, Enter, Paste, Alt+Tab, Click, Ctrl+A, Copy, Alt+Tab, Click, Paste, Click, (Employee #), Click, Alt+Tab, Double click, Copy, Alt+Tab, Paste, Double click, Copy, Alt+Tab, +, +, +, Shift+F3, Home, Paste, Enter, F6, Tab(s), x, Copy, Alt+Tab, Double click, Paste, Alt+Tab, F7, Copy, Alt+Tab, Double click, Paste, Double click, 0, Enter, E-mail button on my keyboard, ********@****.***, "RA request on PO", Alt+Tab, Double click, Copy, Alt+Tab, Paste, "Case", Alt+Tab, Double click, Copy, Alt+Tab, Paste, Alt+Tab, Double click, Copy, Alt+Tab, Paste, Tab, Click, Click, Click, Double click, Copy, Click, Paste, Alt+Tab, Double click, Copy, Alt+Tab, Click, Paste, Alt+Tab, Double click, Copy, Alt+Tab, Click, Paste, Alt+Tab, Double click, Copy, Alt+Tab, Click, Paste, Ctrl+Enter, Click, Copy, Click, Alt+Tab, "a", Enter, "ret", Enter, Paste, Enter, Enter. Yes, that was my actual job and it became ingrained in my memory. Never again.... Never again *shiver*

I'm a "teacher" right now. I work at this little school with little funding. Long story short, I was dicked around since December with the potential promise of being full time, or at least being on contract this year, but NOPE. Even though I'm still technically a supply teacher, I've been roped into doing lessons, marking, planning, purchases, and report cards. I mean, the process is fine, but I am given no help from administration or the board because of my supply status, so I'm basically sent into the wild to fend for myself.
Not to mention, I am the BITCH of the entire school. When teachers want more prep, they take time from me because I'm still fucking supply. Somehow I always am passively forced into doing more than I should; partly because they know that I still depend on them for every day I get. Considering, if the principal were to have a bad day, my employment could be terminated on the spot, no questions asked... I am just a supply after all. So here I am, getting paid far less than everyone else, no benefits, but I have to do the same work, if not MORE work because of my rotary position and having to learn unfamiliar content material every night when I go home. It's fucking ridiculus at points. I guess I put it on myself, but I WANT to love my job. Some days though... it's hard to even get dressed for work. Whew. lol |

I've been doing the same thing for seven years straight and almost the same thing for 15 years straight. It stopped being even a little challenging about six years ago so all that is left is a slow moving clock. I hate hate hate it. I feel better now.
