The weather is getting pretty bad here this morning, and it's not really suppose to let up for like 24 hours, how crazy would it be for me to just crash at work? I have the internet, and a shower and stuff, or should I just risk a dangerous trip home tonight, and then again in the morning?

If it's not weird to crash at work, do the safe thing. Plus, you might get brownie points for staying there instead of going home and staying home. That or your boss will think you're weird.

If it survived the night, it'll probably be fine today. And if it didn't come crying back to you by 2am it probably found a warm place to bunk down. I predict that if it comes home, it'll probably be looking pitiful by the door when you get back from work. If it's not there, make a little bed by your door with lots of old blankets and towels and maybe some food, unless your neighborhood has a raccoon problem, then forgo the food. If it's not back by tomorrow after work, make fliers. Maybe a neighbor took it in.

Set up the bed on your lunch break with the food and then take the food inside so raccoons don't get it at night.

i keep one of those kitty condos on my patio. he was there when i got home. the cold didn't seem to hurt him but he was beat up like he is every time he gets out. he tries to make it to this girl cat across the apartment complex full of dogs and occasionally bobcats.

Maybe he thought if he showed up in 16 degrees she'd let him in.

LOL, your cat would have to be pretty weak to not survive that.
