It's possible that I'm displaying the symptoms of morning sickness because my body thinks I am pregnant.
I take birth control both as a contraception, but also to lessen the symptoms of my endometriosis. Because birth control simulates pregnancy to a certain extent, it can give people morning sickness. The fact that I've just started on a new brand of pill this month, and that I forgot to take Friday's pill and took it with Saturday's makes me think that I could be suffering from morning sickness, even though I am not pregnant. I had no clue about that, I'm kinda shocked. I didn't realize birth control could mimic pregnancy symptoms. (I've been meaning to ask if you've ever read "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler...amazing book, I know more about my body after reading that than I learned in 27 years prior to that. Even if you DON"T want babies, read it! )About 2 weeks ago I had a rough week or so, not being able to sleep. Everyone kept making pregnancy comments...and since everyone wants me to pop out a kid, I kept hearing "Are you pregnant?" "Are we having little 'elle/husband' babies?" I wanted to cut someone, I heard it so often!!!!!!! I'm allowed to be sleepy/tired/out of it, and it doesn't mean there's a bean in my belly just yet, fuuuuuuuuckers. Re: Moving.... I work in the industry, and moving is amazingly stressful. When I moved to New England from south jersey, it was one of the worst experiences of my life. Every thing went wrong, at every step. I have so much empathy now. We always say that the next time we move we'll hire movers with our moving stipend, instead of doing it ourselves. There aren't enough beers in the world to make moving unstressful.

![]() ![]() I haven't read that. I did read Cunt, by Inga Muscio which had some very helpful info, along with some really, really bad advice about do-it-yourself abortions. Despite the home-abortions bit, I really recommend it as a read for any female. Inga's crazy as a bat in a wet paper sack. But that book is really, really positive about women and vagina. I think that people think that the best thing to do with a healthy relationship is add larva. I don't get it as much because I am unmarried-another good reason to avoid the institution (no offence)- but I do get it from time to time. I'd say that I'm more likely to get the "when will you get married?" question than the pregnancy question. Although, if I was married I'm sure I'd get the kid question. |

When we moved, I found shit I bought and never took out of the package. When my grandmother's husband died, we found tons of shit like that in his stuff. Unopened, brand new shit from the 60's all the way until he got too old and sick to buy shit.

Marina, a bee stung me on my foot on Saturday. I'm wicked allergic and now two days later it's still swollen and it itches like a mofo. I need it in working shape for our trip on Tuesday as it involves almost 3 solid days of walking. I've got it elevated, iced, and I'm nearly freebasing benedryl. Anything else you can think of that I'm not doing? I doubt I can get into the Doctor today--we leave in 16 hours. |

It sounds like you're doing everything right.
My insurance has a 24 hour nurse line that I can call and ask questions. The person on the other end is a registered nurse who will ask you questions and can give you some basic help-type stuff. You should check if your insurance has that. |
