Batman Vs. Wolverine

This discussion almost got started in another thread (weird pics v3) and I kinda want to see it played out.

Basic scenario: modern Batman fighting modern Wolverine in an urban setting(obviously not Gotham, that gives Batman to much of an advantage). Neither has had time to prepare for the fight, i.e. they're are not particularly looking for each other. Each is just out on patrol, I guess looking for someone else and they get confused and start fighting.
Who wins?

Feel free to change up the scenario for discussion, like what if they're fighting in a jungle, on a spaceship, they are hunting each other and have prepared for it, they get sent thru time and have dinosaurs trying to eat them, whatever.

Disclaimer: I don't read comic books, just watched their cartoons and movies

Im diving into super nerd territory but here we go

Okay, so batman is the kind of guy who is ready for anything, He has loads of files in his computer on how to defeat every member of the Justice League. (Its not just superman, batman is afraid of all the meta humans, he just sees Superman as the biggest threat.) So one would think that Batman would be able to handle any kind of Meta-human...

HOWEVER!

As a Marvel hero, Wolverine is from not only a completely Different universe, but a completely different Multi-Verse. Batman, presumably, has no experience with him. He is not aware of his healing factor or animal senses. Also, even though there probably are, I can not think of any DC heroes with a wolverine-like mutant healing factor.

Wolverine could use his senses to stalk batman though the city. bats would probably be able to detect him before a sneak attack but it would not be impossible for Wolverine to get one. Adamantium is nigh-unbreakable and Batarangs wont even Hurt Wolverine beacuse the wounds will heal incredibly fast. Even though Batman has more traditional and polished hand to hand training, Wolverine has almost 150 years worth of fighting and killing underneath his belt.

That's another thing, Wolverine is willing to kill in a fight, something Batman would never do.

So I humbly submit that the winner is obviously...Batman of couse!

As for fighting, at some point they basically made wolverine flat out indestructible, so locked in a room where there's no escape it's wolverine.

Open field of battle, Batman invents something ridiculous and launches him into the sun.


EDIT: Even in a locked room, batman may have researched this possibility and invented an anti healing factor thingy do and win anyway.
