The Beer Flowchart

How accurate is this?

It's accurate enough to be pretty amusing. It leaves off a ton of good beers under the "do you truly love beer" category. But I live in Beervana aka Oregon so I am a bit spoiled.

What's the $500 brand?

I think that I will fit in under Are you trying to be "wordly" category haha

I resent that PBR is known as a "hipster" beer. I buy PBR's cuz it's it's always the cheapest beer in the biggest can. That and I am so fucking hip it hurts.

Blue Moon and Heineken for me, but I neither graduated college nor host dinner parties.

Wow, none of my beers made the chart.
If I want something a little heavier I like Shiner.
Otherwise my purchases will be High Life, Lonestar, or Busch.

**edit** oops, I see High Life now. Never been to a frat party though.

Lonestar makes my heart happy. I'll drink that over Miller, Bud or Coors any day. But the Shiner family is the cousins I always wanted.

I like the puzzles under the cap. The more you drink the harder they get.

The chart is a little nutty but I'm in beer-love today and need to share. I was offered, and accepted, a job today that I've been trying to get for about twelve years: promoting and yapping about beer for my favorite local brewery for a great salary, great benefits, with a free car, and a free phone. Today was also the meeting of the local hops club, so I tried some new stuff. How could it get any better? Beer beer beer, you make me soooo happy! Sigh, beer.

Congrats on the job, need a satellite promoter in MN?

EastTexas 12-17-2009 10:25 AM

Congratulations Jeff!
So are you going to have to change your screen name to jeffdrafttalker now?

RBR is a hipster beer, but Red Stripe is right up there, if not next to it. Well, with the hipster / emo folk I know anyways.

Also, no mention of the energy / booze drinks coming out theses days?
