Danny boys!!

As you may have heard, Danny is putting together his first album. VERY EXCITING I KNOW! I was thinking it might be nice to start a thread where we can all submit some of our favorite TTSWD moments. With 130 shows under his belt, there is a lot to sift through. If there is a particular moment or joke that you think just HAS to be included, suggest it here (ep and time stamp if possible!).

Just imagine all the cringe-worthy moments he must be revisiting as he digs deep into his uncomfortable past to uncover his gems. dont you want in on that awkward lovefest??

Shitty Jim's Shitty Condoms company, (now defunct -apparently) always cracked me up.

The ep where Keith busts his balls over "dog ear-ing books" is full of comedy gold.

To me, (mostly cuz it's recent) I've been loving the Tim Danillion character.

Here's an idea for the album.

Follow each track with one of the many times Danny says, "Hey, call me back! There's another call!" From his solo show.

episode 105, the one with tom sharpling is a favorite of mine. it's the one I sent my folks when they asked to hear the show.

I don't know how Danny plans on organizing the tracks (aside from structuring it like one of his episodes), but there are some consistent themes that he could organize the tracks around: drug talk (fun drugs and meds), sex talk, politics, bits/sketches, and "classic danny moves" (like telling his guests to shut up, flubbing the words and scrambling to recover... oh, like I love the episode where he tries to introduce a song and completely flubs it, and just tells his fans to type that garbled mess into itunes).

For example, episode 105 has a solid cosby/ferguson joke ("...phew!"), a few good gay jokes ("Tom, I almost blew a guy in a bathroom once... the senator's tap, we call it the republican hello"; and, "who do I have to blow around here to get an overturn on gay marriage?"), a good drug joke ("weed could claim me as a dependent on its taxes"), and his classic move of telling his guest to shut up ("Shut up Tom"). not that every joke has to make it in, but plucking jokes from each show by theme could work well...

I dont know if bits from KATG are fair game, but timmy D is a riot, that kale joke! also, the episode where danny and keith discuss strip clubs killed me. danny's mom calling in during the dominatrix talk. all gold.

Oh, and I love the idea of having a track, When Guests evaluate danny’s show:

DIG IT!!!

LOL. It would be a funny way to conclude the album. I hope Danny talks to K and C about using guests because this is brilliant. Danny talking books with Lev and him gushing over Chris would be great.

Looking forward to this album!
