The place that I work is open 24x7. It's a call and operations center. My group is the computer support for the call center. We've had things stolen, coins, CDs and one day my wireless mouse was stolen. So I decided to get a webcam in my office. I bought it, not the company. I set it up with software that's freely available that does motion detection and saves the stills from just about any webcam. That software is available here: http://dorgem.sourceforge.net/ if you're interested.

So I came in Monday morning I noticed that my webcam had been moved. I went to the computer where I store the pictures and I have over 5 minutes of someone sitting at my desk, rifling through it and checking things out. Until, it seems, she spots the camera and, WHAP!, it ends up sideways.

Only if you consider "fired" trouble. I'm going to guess that you would consider that trouble, so yes!

So are you known for having a bunch of cool stuff in your desk? Like..i dunno..candy? maybe blank CDs (or floppy disks is looks like) or is she just obsessed with you?

Don't know, I'll ask around.

As for what she's looking at, it's:

a big metal clip with an empty mint box in it
some red and yellow wrapping paper
a pay stub (no check) of someone who was fired several years ago and never wanted it
lanyard from a badge holder
a unopened USB cable
a green folder with some papers in it.

Nothing TOO interesting.
