no magic story, we were cutting firewood and it kicked back and went through my pants and boots. its a pretty minor injury compared to most you see, i'm lucky in where it hit and how deep it was.

a friend of mine lost a finger and had 2 reattached. he was leaning back on a latter up against his house to trim his tree. then the chainsaw slipped, which threw him off balance and the teeth tore up 3 of his fingers while he and the chainsaw were falling to the ground.
