You're confused. Steve-O was the gay guy. Every other joke was about him taking something up his ass. John Lovitz is the washed-up actor whose career is overshadowed by everyone on the dais except Amy Schumer (who could also be interchanged with the "wanna-be" and the "who the fuck") |

Was it just me or was Mike Tyson coked out of his mind? he couldn't stop moving, couldn't shut up and while his part was funny his body was all over the place.
Steve-O did talk about the time where they caned through 6 grams in a sitting so maybe Mike indulged a bit during the breaks? |

Expected an epic roast, instead got a mediocre one. Anthony Jeselnik is on his way up for these things, Kate Walsh was looking choice, Shatner had a few good lines and I liked Patrice's going off-the-cuff (could have been intended to be portrayed like that though) was pretty good.
However, this hacky, "I ran into a funny person today but it wasn't [comic's name]" kind of joke has ran its course. There is almost at least one from each person in every roast. |

It was essentially, "What can be said about Patrice O'Neal that isn't the title of every Richard Pryor album?" A little discography search will reveal the joke's intent, but like Patrice said, too many white people for it to get a laugh.

Washed-up isn't a niche, that's pretty much what most of the people there are. Each person can fill more then one niche, I was just saying I think its funny how each person's pretty much only gets made fun of based on one, perceived, roast-niche. Tyson was right there, but every black joke was directed at Patrice, cause Tyson has his violent rapey history to make fun of. |

Just watching it now.
Charlie was laughing at all the jokes even if they weren't funny. I agree with what Keith said, you shouldn't be happy about the things people are saying about you... Here's my breakdown of what I saw: McFarland - Was great Lovitz - One funny joke, (keith told it on the show I believe) Walsh - Kid joke was good Ross - Pretty good (+ another kid joke) Tyson - The Illiad -- Homer joke was decent and the ear biting off joke was good... but that was all negated by him thinking he was being roasted and the centre of attention. Jeselnek - MJ Fox joke... Steve-O - His set was alright, some mediocre jokes and he runs into M Tyson's fist. Schmuer - Slutty tattoo joke Schatner - Meh Patrice - was just winging it seems... Sheen - whoever wrote his jokes was pretty good. As it being the first roast I've seen, and I haven't seen the KATG roast, it wasn't HORRIBLE, but was expecting more, and definitely expecting more laughs, like another poster said thought it was going to be EPIC

i went back on the DVR a few times to take in the whole moment of when Patrice said it made him sad that white people are feeling a little too comfortable around Tyson. That, for me, was a moment.
