Craft Corner

I thought it would be fun to share images and stories of the crafts we are working on.

My current project is some pajama pants I'm making for my sister for Christmas. I found some great Amy Butler fabrics at a cute little fabric store in my area, and I couldn't resist!

The body of the pajamas will be this fabric:

And the drawstring, pockets, and piping (haven't decided just yet if I want to do this) will be in this fabric:

I'm going to get started now and post photos when I'm done.

What are you working on?

I just finished crocheting a baby blanket and am currently knitting a scarf. I'm teaching myself how to learn all the stitches so most of the gifts this year art practice pieces. I'll have to take pictures when I finish the scarf...although it's nothing fancy.

I've always wanted a custom scarf that was handmade like that. That came out really good.

I've been doing some jewelry making. I'm thinking that if I can get at least 10 things I don't want to keep for myself, I can open an etsy store.

Does baking count as crafting? If so, I just made some cute christmas cookies.
