CSS makes me cry...Help, please.

I got invited to a bloggers brunch that is apparently a biggerdeal than I was originally led to believe. Apparently it's a select group of "up and coming" bloggers and we'll get to meet with advertisers and whatnot.

I have read a book and stared at multiple internet tutorials but CSS has stumped the kid. I can't for the life of me figure this shit out. I even tried just fucking with my existing template and it comes out looking like it was done by a team of crack addled monkeys.

All I need is a clean right sided two column layout with the header and Category titles in this font

Any help would garner you love, admiration and as soon as I can be in my house for 10 minutes without feeling like the heat will kill me and I can look for it a $25 gift code for Amazon.com I got last year.

Why do you have to use CSS though?

For the titles in that font, you need to download the font and make actual graphics out of them. You'd display them like any other picture.

I can make a header for you in photoshop patrice with that font, and i'll put it in a two collum layout, and why don't you use wordpress?

Hmm, didnt think about my empty hard drive :'(. i will get photoshop as soon as possible

I just found this: http://styles.movalog.com/generator/ does this help you? you can just pick colors and download the 1/2/3 column layout! and then someone can make a cool header with the font for you

Change to wordpress.. Much better, i can help with transistion if you want, if you use wordpress there is a nice little plugin that will let you make your own themes without EVER even looking at CSS.. let me know if your interested. Many moveabletype people are changing to wordpres, moveable type isnt updated enough anymore..

I also have a huge book on CSS that i've never read.
If it gets to the point where you really really HAVE to use it (it sounds like you don't in this case), then i'm your man for pointers.

Ooda that is way beyond what I expected it's soo pretty. Thanks so much. Escaped the heat by going to see the Pirates of The Caribbean but I will get right on finding that Amazon code and I'll PM it to you ASAP.

And for everyone who asked I got a deal on the domain w/Movable Type from Yahoo Bidness credit that I had so that's why I use it. Wordpress does look like a good alternative but I don't know if they offer it.
