Linear Algebra was actually my favorite class in the whole math major (that and the "Advanced Linear Algebra" I took a couple semesters after). Maybe it was just that the professor was the coolest fucking guy ever, or that linear algebra is actually extremely useful in physics...I don't know.

Probably because your other classes involved Calc (the only subject worse) and you didn't take Topology.

I actually enjoyed Lin Alg myself, but matrix multiplication is way too tedious and DEs with matrices is just pure hell.

I did number and group theory, and while group theory was okay, number theory made me want to kill myself. They did offer graph theory, but I didn't take it.

After like one homework assignment and one question on the exams, our professor was like "just use Mathematica or Maple".
