Well Dreamgirl, it is a life building lesson. Digging holes, teaches you how to follow directions, it is great exercise, and what better way for you to realize that God is great for putting us on this earth, then to dig some of it up.

It also allowed me to get rid of the Ho Ho wrappers so Kathy didn't find out, as well as hide the porn that I confiscated from the boys.

From then on when it was whipping time my folks made me go out to the tree in the back yard and pick my own switch (the stick they would beat me with) The first time I thought I was being smart by picking this whispy little branch with a few leaf buds. WRONG WRONG WRONG....that little thing stung like hell on the back of my legs....I howled for 1/2 an hour and the red marks lasted for 2 days. The next time of course I picked a branch so big my mom could not swing it.....wrong again.....she picked a wispy little branch and well...you know the result. After that I just picked a relatively big one that spread the impact over a greater area. Looking back I should of just cut the damned tree down got 1 whipping and been done with it.

I just picked up the phone and called the cops. They never hit me again.

I didn't even know that was an option until after I was too old for spankings. Of course that was also the same year my parents got divorced, so I didn't care. I was just happy that my mother was a LOT less strict than he. 15 year olds don't need an 8 pm bedtime.
