I think aliens come to America to learn a few things about freedom, ass kicking and eagles. Then they go back to thier planets and talk about how America is greatest place in the universe. USA! USA!

Sure, there's life out there somewhere.
I prefer the Ender Wiggin universe, after a few thousand years of space-travel, we've only encountered 3 other sentient species, all pretty drastically different, and we dominate all of them, Humans #1 |

Then in the 60s, the first abduction was reported. The people involved, Betty and Barney Hill, were hypnotized a few years later and described similar "greys". Oddly enough, there was a sfi-fi TV show that had aired a couple weeks before their hypnosis that featured aliens that looked and acted a lot like they described. Then in the 80s, Roswell- which is bullshit- made the greys famous again. After that a guy named Whitley Strieber wrote a book about being abducted by these same greys. It became a bestseller and the greys became the prototypical alien in pop culture. |

I believe that there has to be something out there. Maybe not even whole adavanced civilizations, but possibly simple organic cells. The universe is just too big to say absolutely, "There is nothing out there."
