This guys's sister lost her T-Mobile Sidekick in a taxi. The folks who found it, instead of giving it back, decided to USE it instead... thus providing evidence of the theft. Instead of sucking it up, he decided to make the thieves really famous: by locating their MySpace info and publishing all the pictures they took with the Sidekick... Now the guy's famous... Website got 400000+ hits within 24 hours, and gotten at least six radio interview requests... and lots of helpful citizens offering to take care of the problem.

The fucking stupid bitch shouldn't have left a $400 piece of kit in a taxi. Hope they don't get it back.

Yeah! Damn right. I *hate* people who make mistakes. And how about people who have accidents? Why don't they just *not* have accidents?

It wasn't a mistake or accident, it was pure carelessness.
If you can't take care of your possessions it's pointless bitching when they are stolen, that's all I'm sayin'.

I suppose it is quite impressive how much info they've got on the thieves, but it's getting blown out of proportion and a couple of petty criminals from Queens are gonna become (in)famous. I bet if they played their cards right they could end up making money out of their notoriety, but they don't seem too smart.
